This impressive pendant-amulet from the north of Mali belongs to the Tuareg ethnic group.
Meticulously hand carved, inside it keeps small amulets such as seeds, seals and verses of the Koran to protect its bearer and in this case it must have been an important person due to its size ( 11cm x 10cm).
Materials: Silver, bronce y cobre.
Comes set on a long cord (110cm) multi-thread black cotton braided in the neck area and finished with three small strips of red and turquoise leather on each side.
