Cruces Coptas de Etiopía, Africa del Este.

Estas cruces tienen carácter religioso y se usan a modo de amuleto protector;  cada una de ellas representa a una región diferente de Etiopía; se pueden encontrar hasta 20 modelos diferentes.

En este caso están hechas a mano ( técnica de la cera perdida) de latón dorado.

Measures: Long 9 cm. Width 5-6 cm dependiendo del modelo.

Se incluye una tira larga de cuero para colgar.

Tuareg Crosses were used initially to identify the wearer of the cross, as a passport, to one of the 40 original Tuareg families. Each cross has a name that identifies ( Ingal, Agadez etc. ..). They symbolize the Southern Cross as a guide to the four cardinal points in the Sahara desert. The material used for the manufacture of these crosses is called "Tuareg payment"of a mixture of silver and nikel. Do not get ugly with time. The different junctions vary in size from each other depending on the model, are approximately about 4 cm in size and comprises chain onyx marbles with a length of about 35 cm.

Cruces coptas hechas a mano por artesanos orfebres de Addis Ababa. Ethiopia. Africa del Este.

Estas cruces son un símbolo de la Etiopía cristiana y pesen virtudes protectoras.

Están fabricadas con latón blanco, con el uso prolongado en contacto con la piel o el agua, las crucen toman una patina dorada-bronce.
