Tuareg sword handle Ebony

Tuareg sword from Mali, West Africa.
The handle is spectacular, hard ebony wood (with gold filigree), bone and gilded brass.
The blade is engraved with Tuareg geometric designs.. One side of the blade is serrated.

The sheath is beautifully tanned leather and decorated with engravings and gilt brass plates..
