This beautiful handmade basket from Ethiopia has a traditional design called Messob that is used to hold and transport the Injera, typical Ethiopian dish. That is why it has that peculiar shape; to be able to catch the Injera ( giant pancake) and be able to open the basket with one hand.

Measures 55 cm in diameter. The base alone measures 18cm high and together with the lid measures a total of 47 cm high.
