Spectacular Wollo bracelet , northeast Ethiopia, mid 20th century
Purchased in Harar, northeast Ethiopia year 2004.
Magnificent goldsmith work.; the spikes are soft and hollow, so it is very comfortable to wear, it only weighs 50 gr (1,7 oz).
It is easy to mold to dolls from 14 a 19 cm (5,5" inch to 7,5"inch) circumference. We recommend inserting the bracelet through the phalanges of the wrist so that the metal does not deform too much..
