Magnificent example of a traditional bracelet from the province of Wello, in English, Northeast Ethiopia.
Horn of Africa jewelry has a lot of Arabic and even Indian influence., due to centuries-old trade routes.
We bought this bracelet in Harar at the beginning of the 21st century although we think it belongs to the mid-20th century.

It's small, just 5cm inner diameter and 17.5cm outer circumference. We think it could be from a very young woman or even a girl.. Nest 80 gr.
The closing system is hinged and closes by pressure.
The interior is eroded due to use as seen in the photographs..
