Jimma Bracelet

Beautiful example of Jimma bracelets from the Ethiopian highlands from the mid-20th century, although we bought it in Harar (northeastern Ethiopia) in the year 2006. Since then it has belonged to our private collection.
We do not know the material it is made of, probably bronze, because of its color and weight ( 210 gr = 7,40 oz).
It's small, apenas 5 cm (1,97" inch) inner circumference and 1 cm ( 0,40" inch) thick.
The closing system is with a hinge and pressure on a small tab that fits perfectly.
