This object plays an essential role in the spiritual life of the Bamana.. they believe in the materialization of the spiritual powers of society.
The basic shape resembles a very simplified cow. It consists of a wooden core overmoulded with clay, eggs, cola nuts, blood, urine, honey, vegetable fiber and cow manure.
