The sculpture is from the second half of the 20th century and is skillfully attached to a concave wooden base (of recent date) which allows its stability. The geometric decoration throughout the piece is traditional in this type of sculpture and demonstrates the skill of the sculptor in his creation process.. The entire carving is decorated with thin brass sheets on the face., body and something in the long horns. It preserves the original antique cowrie earrings in the ears and nose that produce a pleasant sound when they collide with the wood..
