Mali is a country with a long tradition of puppetry and here we have an example of it.
Relations between man and woman, domestic problems and conflicts between women in polygamous marriages are recurring themes in the puppetry tradition in West Africa.
The main characters are the Barabara, favorite wife and the Galomuso, bad wife.
It is important to recognize them both by their physical attributes and by their hairstyle and clothes.
