Finger knives are a special handmade item in all Turkana tribes (northeastern uganda, northwestern kenya, South Sudan and in the Omo Valley, Ethiopia). They have been used since ancient times as a tool for daily work (they are shepherds) and including weapon.
They were also used in the past among the tribes as a very valuable currency..
