The origin of this talisman is from the Tuareg of northern Mali where they receive the name "in Ettou". We date it to the middle of the 20th century.. XX
This is a 9cm x 9cm rectangular leather bag. 6,5 cm wider than the "marabou" of the town fills and wraps the powder mixture in layers, scriptures, woods, perfumes and seeds.
In addition to this amulet ( grey-gray in ancient Arabic) they hang 8 round agate beads separated by black resin caps and in the middle a Kobro bead.
The cord of 4 Tuareg leather threads measured 48 cm in length.
