Authentic African spears from northern Mali. S. XX. West Africa.

We bought these spears years ago from an antique dealer in Mopti, north of Mali, place currently dominated by jihadists and almost impossible to visit by foreigners.
Due to their condition they have probably been used.
The main body of the spear is made of a hard and resistant wood.
Left spear: SOLD. SOLD.
Middle Spear: consists of two parts, the iron tip and the wooden body.
Right spear: consists of 3 parts, The tip is made of iron in the shape of a harpoon as well as the bottom part in the shape of a flat and sharp utensil..
